The 2200, 2400, 3500, 3700 & 3900 HiFlo Engines



 
The key to this series is balance! They offer strong acceleration but are very drivable. They complement either the "aggressive" or "laid back" driver. These engines are also compatible with the stock engine accessories. They work fine with stock fuel injection or simple 2 barrel Weber Carburetor (2x2 barrel Webers for 6 cyl.).

The stock exhaust is usually fine and the cooling system usually takes just a minimum of upgrading. All the mechanical upgrades that our engines are famous for have been added to this series.

Aluminum silicon bronze or manganese bronze valve guide seal. Special valve guides are capped with a Teflon valve guide seal. Special valve springs are used for greater cam & rocker arm life. Six cylinders also get a dual chamber sprayer bar.

They come with a HiFlo ST (Surface Turbulence) Sport Head ported for an 18% flow increase.

Our Sport Cam (dual profile asymmetrical design) is used for power without sacrificing economy and emissions. Boring and stroking achieve larger displacement.

The lightweight (100 grams lighter than stock) forged Alusil pistons have about 10:1 compression in these engines. If you're looking for a reliable, high performance engine that's easy to drive, a pleasure to live with and economy to buy - this is it!
