| The following is our procedure for filling
an engine order. After a customer has read over
our catalog/mailer information, they'll usually call us to discuss their
engine needs. Once you decide that you want an engine from us, we write
up a pre-order.
This pre-order does two things.
- It helps us know what jobs are coming in so we can get your parts
ready
- The pre-order indicates that payment for the engine is being forwarded
by certified payment (money order, certified check, etc.) or credit
card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover).
Sorry, no personal or company checks. Once a payment is recieved, it
sets the starting date of a job. An engine usually takes 2-3 weeks to
complete. If you have an emergency situation, we'll make an effort to
adjust this time to your needs.
All engines are built on an exchange basis. Ocassionally, a customer
wants their original engine rebuilt in order to maintain the ID number.
We have no problem with this, but it will cost you an additional $300
for a 4-cylinder and $400 for a 6-cylinder engine plus the cost of sending
an engine crate usually shipping an extra round trip.
